Te Puna Ora Wellness is a Kaeo-based tangata whenua provider of addiction services, and a preloved Op Shop called Kete, which operates for the benefit of the people of Whangaroa.
Having locally based addiction services available in person or online, and access to affordable clothing, means people do not need to travel outside Whangaroa for these essential needs, reducing transport costs and contributing to the community.
Te Puna Ora Wellness practices manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, whakapapa, karakia, and the sharing of kai to support wellbeing. Te Puna Ora Wellness observes the Maramataka as a way of life. Te Whare Tapa Wha, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Transactional Analysis are used as tools to evoke change.
